Day 10- RPG Battle Music: Pathfinder Kingmaker- Dungeon Battle Theme 1
This day was kind of a rough one. I wanted to go with a song from Divinity Original Sin 2, but the soundtrack is all over the place on Youtube and I couldn't find the one I was looking for. Instead, this turned up in Kingmaker's OST and it might be the one I was looking for from the start? No idea. At this point, they're all starting to run together. I did get the impulse to hit spacebar + tab to pause and get a look at the encounter though, so something must have stuck with me.

Day 11 - Puzzle Game - Hiveswap Act 1, Snake Escape
I remember a day in 2014 where I was at the height of my Homestuck days and heard this track when this game was slated to come out before I graduated high school. Still reminds me of when I liked this damn webcomic, and it didn't have the spinoffs which I don't know if anyone actually reads or not. Homestuck and Andrew Hussie are weird man.

Day 11- Music from a Puzzle Game: Tetris Attack- Lava Blargg
This song was my jam back in high school. I love the sound, I love the beat, I love the way it builds on itself. Good stuff.

Day 11: Puzzle Game
Maybe I might be stretching the definition here but Ghost Trick is at least a better fit for a 'Puzzle Game' than my first choice. A bit of a mix of crime scene investigation and rube goldberg simulator, the music was made by Masakazu Sugimori who penned the OST for the original Phoenix Wright.
It is a bit less lively and a bit more jazzy, but considering the noir aesthetic of the game it fits all the better. I would love to see a remaster with redone music. The DS's capabilities were admirable, but it still have the sound limitations that plagued the Gameboy advance: Tinny and flat.

Day 12: Music that makes you sad.
Time to cash in my Undertale chip.
This game came out at a hard time in my life. I was stuck at home after college, barely making ends meet working in a hospital cafeteria, and I was stuck in the middle of a very messy divorce between my two parents. I came into the game after the kickstarter, and was brought in by the soundtrack. The Ruins sounded just like something out of Secret of Mana, and that was one of my favorite soundtracks of all time.
I hadn't seen the twists coming at then end, and the pacifist ending had me pull an all nighter. I loved every moment of it. Cut to a few days later and I had downloaded the soundtrack to my phone and was playing it in my car. This song came up, and for some reason everything that I had bottled up for almost a year just came flowing out. I pulled to the end of the road in tears, but it was one of those good cathartic cries.
Even to this day it get's me a bit teary eyed just listening to it.

Day 12 - Music that makes you sad - Pokemon: Mystery Dungeon.
Whelp, I don't think I could pick a better track than this for me. I think I have on one hand the amount of games that have truly made me cry or be emotional and Mystery Dungeon was definitely the first. Now, you may be wondering, why pick the beginning track where you meet your partner, rather than one of the ending tracks? Because, anonymous reader, the callback at the end to the bubbles, the finite time you have to cherish with the ones you love, is what makes this scene so special. Please, enjoy the Krabby blowing bubbles and the beach at dusk. Maybe you'll find a partner for life there.

Day 12- Music That Makes You Sad: Night in the Woods- Die Anywhere Else
Man, Night in the Woods. I played it a couple months after landing a job and ending a year-and-a-half job search. Near the end I was starting to feel the pressure, beating myself up over taking any time off the job hunt, worried about the future in general. I was not ready to see my anxieties about joblessness, living at home, and mental health broadcasted back at me; least of all in a song about wanting to escape your hometown. A whole lot of 'What If' came crashing down on this one.
Amazing game. It got me really bad, but I respect the hell out of it.

Wow I missed so many days, so instead of lagging this page out with imbedded videos, I'll just link them!! Day 6: Music that makes you relaxed Katamari's Que Sera SeraHonestly? I think this one is self explanatory. Day 7: Music from an indie game Hade's In the BloodIf.. You haven't pleaaase listen to this song... I love it so.. Day 8: Music from a shooter Doom's BFG Division this was kinda hard because when I play shooters, I uh, usually turn the music off. Honestly I'm not a fan of shooters to begin with. Day 9: Music from a Licensed Game Scott Pilgrim VS the World's BollywoodI think you guys might all know this song... Day 10: RPG Battle music Persona Q's Light the Fire up in the NightI know spin off games might not be everyone's jam but pls... give this one a listen too... Day 11: Puzzle Game Music Portal's Still AliveI'm.. not sure if this was done.. but I dont care Day 12: Music that makes you sad Sayonara Wild Hearts's ... actually I'll just give you guys the entire sequences music here (If you're epileptic, please do not watch this video, there is flashing) Ok these songs, I'm not sure if it's exactly sad but it fills me with emotions, and I find it hard to do this part because I'm usually in tears around the middle. The story of the game is about someone finally recovering from their broken heart and that kinda resonates with me (woops!! cliche!!)
