Day 27- Music From a Handheld Game: Bravely Default- That Person's Name Is
The Bravely series is the template for what Octopath should have been. The system for stocking and spending turns, the ability to speed up battles, and store the actions you take in a turn are such a huge quality of life improvement when grinding. The characters all have thoroughly developed arcs, regular banters, and equal share in the plot. The jobs come regularly over the course of the game and dare you to break it backwards. Bravely Default 1 and Bravely Second are both solid 3DS games. Bravely Default 2 is a standalone plot and good starting point, though with some gameplay regressions. It also earns points for having a decent difficulty.
This song plays over the battles you fight to earn new jobs. The Jobmasters are crazy weirdos causing trouble in the world, so you need to shut them down and take their superpowers. The best of the Jobmasters stick around and get plot after being looted and/or tie into the party's backstories. They're a lot of fun, and the first time you meet them you fight them over this jam.

Day 28
Damn Quintet, why did you fade away so quickly?
They were the go to on the SNES and while Illusion of Gaia is a bit iffy, Soul Blazer and Terranigma are fantastic.
Soul Blazer's soundtrack is fantastic and there are only few real stinkers there. It has a certain twang that Quintet games were just known for.

Day 29- Final Boss Music: Kirby and the Crystal Shards- Zero Two
This is one of those themes that says, "You just stood in something you aren't ready for" and even though it's a Kirby game for babies, you're fighting an angelic blood-red eye in the nowhere dimension with a completely new set of controls. Better figure it out quick.

Day 29 Boss Music
Dedede's theme is a pretty solid banger, but his Masked theme is even better. My main criticism is that the song doesn't have enough oomph.
Alas that's what remixes and covers are for, it's just an overall weakness of the DS and 3DS sound capabilities. There's about as much bass in it as the NES Mega Man games and even the instruments that are there are a bit flat.
That aside it takes Dedede's regular theme and makes it faster and more frantic, a good fit considering this is the hard mode version of his fight.

Day 30- Credits Music: Super Smash Brothers Wii U/3DS
This is an odd one. I could put up Outer Wilds' credits theme or Nier Automata's Weight Of The World, but there's no telling what that would do to the Youtube algorithm of anyone who watched it. Instead here's something safe. Smash's ending rolls are pretty damn cool in their own right.

I'm a bit late but here are my picks for the last few days! Day 26 Music you like from a game you haven't played Nier - The Wretched Automatons www.youtube.com/watch?v=YoLrFxUbgjwI have enver played any of the Nier games, but I ADORE the soundtracks. Epecially of the first Nier. Day 27 Music from a handheld game Sonic Rush - What U Need www.youtube.com/watch?v=neN6N5tKTTUSonic Rush is suuuper underrated. It was a genuinely good Sonic game on the DS, with a rockin' soundtrack from Hideki Naganuma. Day 28 Music that makes you nostalgic Gotcha Force - Decisions, Decisions www.youtube.com/watch?v=VkVhL1zaFmgMan, I miss Gotcha Force. Honestly this is one of the weaker tracks from the game, but despite that, this one really takes me back. Day 29 Final boss music Little Nightmares 2 - Old Friends Anew www.youtube.com/watch?v=lbg0BeAE9-4Little Nightmares is amazing. If you have any interest in horror games, or spooky aesthetics, you have to check it out. And last but not least... Day 30 Credits music Portal 2 - Want You Gone www.youtube.com/watch?v=ao7GG8FXWqQHow could I resist going with music from the portal series! Both of GLaDOS's ending credits songs are such perfect capstones to their respective games. I find that Still Alive has more nostalgia factor, but I vastly prefer Want You Gone musically, in addition to the fact that I just like Portal 2 more than 1 in general.

Better late than never!
Day 30: Credits Music
Rhythm Doctor might be a bit intense as a rhythm game but it's still pretty neat all around.
I like any credits that do throw backs to songs from earlier game, and this one does some subtle nods that are more evident while the credits are rolling in the game.
Also, it's just that right mix of peaceful, and passionate that hits me right in the heart.
