You press the Fiery Squire to explain further about this “Farmer” they mentioned earlier.
They go on to tell you that it is believed that Strange Beasts have been lurking in the deeper parts of the forest and she was going to Investigate to find out more when she heard someone yell. She found this Abandoned Cart and the Slime Acolyte all alone. She assumed the Slime Acolyte was up to no good.
- ----Hold a moment, slime! We mean no harm. What's your business here?
You turn to the Slime Acolyte and ask for their side of the Story.
There is clearly a Language Barrier here. You are actually rather surprised that a Wizard In Training doesn't know the common tongue. Perhaps they are merely playing Dumb.
- Tell the Fiery Squire to apologize.
Trusting your instincts, you do not believe this Slime Acolyte is at fault for this Abandoned Cart. You request the Fiery Squire to apologize for attacking them.
You nearly wretch when you hear her mention the Band of the Moon. The Fiery Squire seems really adamant about judging this Slime Acolyte. You don't have much to go on to change her mind. What should you do now?

Keep them apart and calm this down. See if you can get the slime to gesture what they're doing?

A knight of the moon enacts justice against those who have done wrong. According to what's been said, all there is here is racism and prejudices, no evidence. Is the cart even slimy or damaged? Is it just an abandoned wagon? Is Firey Squire just getting fired up so they can get their first 'win' against 'evil'?

If diplomacy fails, just punch the firey squire in the face and take the Slime Squire with you, they are clearly unsafe here, and also you have secretly always wanted to punch a squire.
