Well no harm was done, and the farmer is clearly napping. However this is an important lesson for the human squire about jumping to conclusions.
You look upon the Farmer with relief as you begin to fully understand the situation that occurred.
Now to settle things between these two.
- Tell the Fiery Squire to come here and see how they overreacted.
You order the Fiery Squire to come over and have them see for themself.
You sigh and wonder if you were this Bratty back when you were a Squire.
Tired of wasting anymore time you Slap the Farmer awake.
Perhaps it was rude, but it got the job done.
At this point the Fiery Squire looks defeated, shall we wrap this up?

Alternatively, the fiery squire needs to apologize to the slime, it's not over until JUSTICE is served.

Yes, lets get a proper apology from the Fiery Squire. Afterwards, if she does apologize, maybe we should offer to mentor her? The Band of the Moon is a rather nasty set of folks, it'd be good for her to see that knights should be compassionate to all races.

Inform the farmer that there have been disappearances in the local area, and to maybe nap in a place that WON'T get someone nearly killed over an accusation of being a murderer. Aside from that, for the crime of literal attempted murder, tell the Fiery squire to become the Slime's squire, giving your new squire their own squire. (This means she has to carry both your stuff AND theirs) (Also the slime squire is your squire now, this is nonnegotiable and effective immediately.)
It's not kidnapping if we pay them, it's simply "Forced Employment".

You sternly insist that the Fiery Squire apologize to the Slime Acolyte.
It doesn't sound particularly Honest, but the Slime Acolyte seems to accept it.
- Ask the farmer if he's traveling with Slime Acolyte and if the contents of his wagon are still there.
You inquire as to what the Farmer's Plans are and if they involve the Slime Acolyte in any manner.
You ponder once again as to why a Slime is so far away from home. Acolytes have Masters and you see no one else around. What is their Purpose?
- >Farmer: Realize that all the turnips from your wagon are gone.
- >Fiery Squire: OwO Crime's afoot! To chase!
Suddenly, the Farmer bellows a disruptive Screech.
You inquire further about how he could have lost a wagon's worth of Turnips while he slept. The Farmer mentions, before he fell asleep he saw some Ruffians heading towards the Town and it must have been them!
The Fiery Squire runs off towards Town before you have a moment to interject. You wonder if they were looking for an Excuse to leave their embarrassing situation.
You really just want to go to the Tavern, but what should we do next?

Give Chase! We can't just let this clearly very fast and useful little gremlin get away just like that! What if they get the wrong idea again and start fights?

Grab the slime and go after her! At the very least keep her from getting herself thrown in jail for assault, and best case, two squires are better then one. Besides, the tavern and princesses can wait. Not like there's ~100 other knights important enough to have names also looking for princesses to rescue or they're at risk of being eaten or killed by their captors or anything. Whats a quest without a side-quest or 5 to fill time?
