You feel as though you had better REVIEW the FUNCTIONS of the SPELL TRACK. You are a FLEDGLING WIZARD after all, and thus you are NEW to SPELLCASTING.
Firstly, you REVIEW the concept of SPELL SLOTS. Each spell requires a CERTAIN NUMBER of SPELL SLOTS to CAST, each of which may specify that it must match a particular SPELL CLASS. Each WIZARD has a CERTAIN NUMBER of SPELL SLOTS distributed among a variety of SPELL CLASSES. You have THREE SPELL SLOTS of the LIQUID CLASS, FOUR SPELL SLOTS of the BODY CLASS, and ONE SPELL SLOT of the ENERGY CLASS.
Getting a FULL NIGHT'S REST will REPLENISH all SPELL SLOTS. Unless you have POOR QUALITY REST, in which case FEWER SPELL SLOTS may be REPLENISHED than normal.
The REQUIRED SPELL SLOTS to CAST a SPELL are listed in your SPELLBOOK. You will EXPEND them when you CAST the SPELL.
PEE YOUR PANTS requires ONE LIQUID CLASS SPELL SLOT, and ONE BODY CLASS SPELL SLOT. There exist SPELLS that call for NEUTRAL SPELL SLOTS, for which SPELL SLOTS of any CLASS can be EXPENDED. But you have no such SPELLS currently.
To CAST a SPELL, you must DRAW the SIGIL for that SPELL. WIZARDS must generally DRAW their SIGILS on OBJECTS OR SURFACES, but the more SKILLED a WIZARD is at DRAWING a particular SIGIL, the more likely they will be able to DRAW it in MID-AIR.
Your MANA RESERVOIR is your PERSONAL storage of MANA. CASTING any SPELL will DEPLETE some MANA. SPELLS are MADE OF MANA, so without MANA, you cannot CAST a SPELL, and if your MANA LEVEL is low enough, SPELLS you CAST may COME OUT WRONG.
MANA exists EVERYWHERE in the ENVIRONMENT, but it is NOTORIOUSLY DIFFICULT to utilize without a MANA RESERVOIR.
MANA will REPLENISH slowly over time as it is ABSORBED from the ENVIRONMENT, but can also be REPLENISHED by consuming FOOD AND DRINK. SPECIALLY PREPARED FOOD may REPLENISH more MANA than others. The most concentrated MANA CONTAINING SUBSTANCES are often sold as MANA POTIONS.
MANA RESERVOIRS are PHYSICAL OBJECTS made of SPECIALLY TREATED GLASS, that WIZARDS often get IMPLANTED into their bodies. If your MANA RESERVOIR ever SHATTERS within you, then you will likely DIE FROM INTERNAL BLEEDING due to the SHARDS OF BROKEN GLASS. You had yours IMPLANTED a few days ago. Your MANA will SLOSH AROUND when you MAKE SUDDEN MOVEMENTS causing POTENTIAL SPELL DISRUPTION, which is why typically WIZARDS will CAST their SPELLS while STANDING STILL.
MANA comes in a VARIETY of different COLORS. You have NO IDEA why, but your MANA is ABSOLUTELY PITCH BLACK.
MANA POINTS are LOCATIONS where there is an ABNORMALLY HIGH amount of ENVIRONMENTAL MANA. The higher the NUMBER of MANA POINTS you have ATTUNED to, and the CLOSER you are to one of your MANA POINTS, the faster your MANA RESERVOIR will REFILL. Your NUMBER of MANA POINTS will not be REDUCED unless one of the MANA POINTS to which you are ATTUNED is DESTROYED, or your ATTUNEMENT is otherwise SEVERED.
SPELL POINTS are HOLES that are DRILLED into a WIZARD'S BODY, through which they can DRAW their SPELL SIGILS. You have ONE SPELL POINT on your LEFT INDEX FINGER. If a WIZARD gets SPELL POINTS DRILLED into their BODY in a shape corresponding to the DOTS on the SIGIL of a SPELL, they can CAST that SPELL INSTANTANEOUSLY at ANY TIME, without having to DRAW it. You're honestly NOT SURE why anyone would do that though. Getting ONE SPELL POINT installed was painful enough.
The MANA COMPASS is a PHYSICAL DEVICE, which is also IMPLANTED into your BODY. It points towards the strongest FLOW of MANA relative to your CURRENT LOCATION. I.e. The direction your MANA is coming from. USUALLY, this means that it will point towards the CLOSEST or STRONGEST of your ATTUNED MANA POINTS, but since you HAVE NO MANA POINTS, it is likely pointing towards wherever the ENVIRONMENTAL MANA is highest in the NEARBY VICINITY.
QUINTESSENCE is essentially, the FLAVOR of your SOUL. Your QUINTESSENCE is ALIGNED with the EIGHT ELEMENTS, which are (in clockwise order,) FIRE, DRY, EARTH, COLD, WATER, WET, AIR, and HOT. The closer your CURRENT QUINTESSENCE ALIGNMENT is to an ELEMENT, the more ALIGNED you are with it.
CASTING SPELLS causes your CURRENT ALIGNMENT to SHIFT SLIGHTLY based on the ELEMENT of the SPELL. CASTING PEE YOUR PANTS seems to be pushing your QUINTESSENCE towards WET.
The more ALIGNED you are with a certain ELEMENT, the more POWERFUL your SPELLS of that ELEMENT will be. If your QUINTESSENCE is STRONGLY ALIGNED with a PARTICULAR ELEMENT, you may find it DIFFICULT or IMPOSSIBLE to CAST SPELLS of the OPPOSITE ELEMENT.
FIRE and WATER are OPPOSITES, as are DRY and WET, EARTH and AIR, and COLD and HOT.
You note however, that WHITE MAGIC and BLACK MAGIC are not displayed in any capacity on the SPELL TRACK, because they are COLLOQUIAL TERMS for MAGIC that is GENERALLY ASSOCIATED with GOODNESS or EVIL respectively. They have no real TECHNICAL MEANING.
