"What, you actually know my name, Cinn? Weirdo. Anyways, on a scale of one to ten, how awful is your roommate?"

"He's. He's not?"

Cinnabar sounds confused by the question, but your nemesis looks satisfied.

"Ok, cool. Just checking. Also, how are you not cold like that, dude? It's way colder up here than it was in the Navroyan barracks."





"Ok, well, I need to get some food, so, see you guys later."

You can't tell if Lina is genuinely concerned about Cinnabar or what, but you actually are pretty hungry. You wave to the strange collection of teammates and nerds and enter the kitchen.




Oh good! Catboy-- Hanish, is here along with a cooking lady. That's neat. You wonder if he's got any idea about the mild questioning of his moral standings going on in the other room. Judging by his bowl of oatmeal, you guess he doesn't. 

Looks like you can try and find some food for yourself or you can talk to Hanish or the cook lady and see if they can suggest something to eat.

"I've been here for a while now. I took up the job fifteen years ago and have been here ever since. As for entertainment, there's a few books that past groups left behind, there's a few sets of playing cards, and there's always the nearby town when the weather's decent. It's just a half an hour walk if it's clear and the snow isn't deep."

She pauses and taps a finger against her cheek.

"Though, I think I've hear some discussions of a game of 'never have I ever' going on tonight to get everyone familiar with each other."

"Ha! Ok, that sounds like it should be a good time. Pretty excited about learning more about everyone here."

The day flew by, mostly because of the packing and the knowledge of team bonding games later that night. Oliver, Math, and Midge aren't here, but hey, you can't get everyone to play. There'll be other chances to drag them into ridiculous drinking games later on in the year. For now, the group is assembled. The drinks are poured. It's time to learn way too much about your new coworkers!
