FAUNA
Name: Polep
Diet: Omnivore. It mainly feeds on grass and small insects
Habitat: Close to toxic rivers/seas
Description: Imagine a very elongated and very thin elephant with no tusks and no visible mouth. The creature feeds through an elongated process resembling an elephant's trunk. The ears represent the outer openings in the head with the inner auricle. It has a small and hard-to-see pair of eyes. Often it has a gray skin, in rare cases gray-white. They live for a very short time, about 1 earth year, in contrast to this, they have a very high birth rate.
Special traits: In an unknown way, they learned to absorb highly toxic liquids, which made their meat and blood very poisonous, so they do not have natural predators. However, in return, their life expectancy was significantly shortened.
Behavior: This creature is very passive and practically does not react to external stimuli. Even with a deadly threat, it will not do anything to protect itself. The creature does not possess any intelligence or sense of self-preservation. They move only to meet natural needs such as food and reproduction, except in rare cases of migration.
Reproductive cycle: The creature leads a gregarious lifestyle and is also a hermaphrodite. Reproduction occurs by the penetration of the hobotoid mouth through a special hole in the back of the narrower part just below the cloaca and the delivery of seminal fluid there. The fluid is produced inside the body at just below the "belly" and is delivered to the partner through the esophagus. The gestation period is 1-1.5 earth months. On average, 3 to 9 individuals are born. After birth, the creatures are left to themselves without the participation of guardians until death.

Fauna-
Name: Grellimus-Troga (AkA: Greckle)
Diet: Omnivorous, Fungi/Insects
Habitat: Underground
Description: An underground dwelling primate of very small size, they are mostly devoid of fur save for small patches at the end of their long tails and on top of their heads. Their eyes are quite large and lack pupils, said eyes glow a sickly yellow whilst underground and are milky white whilst above ground. Their flesh is often stark white with the occasional one being born a mottled grey with blue tinting. They're also noted for their stupendously large pointy ears.
Special traits: Capable of seeing in near pitch darkness and quite adaptive to drastic temperatures. They're also fleet of foot if scared.
Behavior: The Greckle are a cowardly and alert lot, what with the death lasers constantly threatening to obliterate them if they dare stick their heads outside of their tunnel systems. They tend to feed on the fungi and earthworms beneath the surface, though in times of dire hunger they will dare to go outside for sustenance. Usually screeching and panicking the entire time.
Reproductive cycle: Ironically enough, the Greckle breeding process requires they lay a clutch of hard ice-like eggs ABOVE ground, as the eggs require sunlight in order to incubate and hatch. The eggs are then left to fend for themselves until they hatch and the young Greckles make an instinctual mad-dash to the nearest hole in order to not die. Of course many DO die, but this in counteracted by the fact that the Greckle egg clutches are lain in overwhelming abundance.
Flora -
Habitat: Underground
Description: Large mushroom clusters with glowing spots speckled amongst them. Their caps are balloon like, inflating and deflating as if breathing.
Special traits: They partially glow and seem capable of producing oxygen.
Possible uses: The mushrooms serve as a light-source whilst planted, and can also serve as an impromptu "Oxygen Tank" by pulling a larger one from the ground and breathing through the stem. If eaten they provide partial vision in the darkness for a short time, though some side-effects of extreme mental paranoia have been noted.

Name: Worm Dragon
Diet: Aquatic life until scarce and Small aerial creatures
Habitat:Any pools of liquid
Description:Gigantic gelglike worm-fish. They have large mouths that tend to be open, fins along their worm like bodies with holes underneath it, as well as two large fins/wings. They also don't possess a intestine, only a stomach/aerial system/secretion system/reproductive system that extends from their mouths to their tail
Special traits:They are both aerial and aquatic(?), and camuflage in the color of their latest rest area due to having almost no internal organs and a semi-transparent liquid absorbent gel sack for skin
Behavior:They inhabit pools of liquids where their gel sack absorbs the liquid changing their color until almost invisibility, there they lie in a semi conscious state eating food passively, when the honk winds comes they enter their active state where they fly with the air "eaten" by their large mouths being redirected to the holes along their bodies for flight control and their larger fin being used as gliders, in their active state they hunt small aerial prey but eventually they need to land because their active state requires a lot of energy for this usually inert creature, because they need to secret their prey remains that weight down their ballon like bodies, or because their gel sack starts to dry
Reproductive cycle:They meet on their active state when their brains are most awake, they follow the wind taste of several flavors to large flocks where the female transfers eggs to the male in a "kiss" with the male proceeding to deposit them into crevices under the flavor pools. The young remain inactive until adolescence where they separate from their siblings to find their own flavor pool where hopefully the food competition will be smaller

Name:Irakai
Diet: Omnivorous in stage one, and specialized to environment in stage two
Habitat: Anywhere terrestrial, specialized to environment in stage two
Description: Small short furred quadrupled creatures with long faces, agender and around the size of a dog with oval black eyes and colors varying to white, pink, purple and dark blue in stage one with varied appearance in stage two
Special traits: Irakai have two life stages only reaching full adulthood after mating
Behavior: In stage one Irakai are shy creatures but with high curiosity often attempting to study and sometimes befriend other beings, they often form packs of 5 or six siblings until they meet other packs that form larger groups of 4 to 6 packs. varied behaviour in stage two with exception of noticeable curiosity decrease, independent behaviour, and periods where they sit in silence staring at nothing in particular
Reproductive cycle: Irakai form a hardy cocoon with normally 2 other mates, but cocoons may contain up to 6 Irakai but no less then 3, during this process the Irakai melt their memories and experiences into one being, the more mates and the more the Irakai got to experience in stage one the longer the cocoon stage is. Even with the hard shell this stage is of vulnerability so mates look for secluded places or the protection of younger packs or even other creatures they managed to befriend. In this process everything they ever eat, the environment they lived in, even experiences and individual personality will shape their final stage (of course with characteristic traces of the species), changes include color, number of limbs, new specialized limbs, diet, size, behavior, even organ functionality. The final stage possess not only the personality but the memory combined of all their predecessors in stage one, not being able to distinct between them as memories of individual creatures but only as past events. Finally stage two will will cary for their hole remaining life five to six eggs that they deposit through different means in their final moments. The young are born with vestigial memories and sometimes even multigenerational mutations although rarely
Example:a Irakai in stage two, born from mountain dwelling Irakai with a diet of small animals, insects and roots will probably develop crawls for digging and support and increased size of stage two. But suppose one of the Irakai in stage one had a particular traumatizing event on their life, in stage two this Irakai may be more reserved and develop spikes to keep other creatures away. Perhaps another component particularly liked another species, in adult stage this Irakai will not be physically capable of eating that species. And the final component liked night time perhaps? Nocturnal behaviour and Black fur. All the while retaining the long face, oval eyes, and short fur and being clearly identifiable as a stage two Irakai

Let's kick this off with both Fauna and Flora
Fauna
Diet: Herbivorous
Habitat: Mountains
Description: Caprine inhabitants of the mountains of the world. They have shaggy wool pelts but also have Chitinous plates on their back and legs. Their pelts can vary depending on which of the world's colorful mountains the reside on. Members of this species that reside on the mountains tend to have larger chitin plates and the plateau dwellers have woolier pelts. They are adept climbers, and are able to climb up what might seem to most as sheer cliffs. Their horns are far more sleek and streamlined than a normal goat and tend to run along their silhouette rather than jutting out.
Special traits: These creatures are rather remarkable in the fact that, while they are great climbers, they are also remarkable fallers. They can tuck into their chitin plates similar to an armadillo and turn their fall into a roll. While a straight fall will still pose a problem, they can roll down steep inclines and tend to even use that to either evade or take on predators. Their skulls have more cushion to allow for greater impact resistance.
Behavior: While these creatures are herbivorous they can get rather defensive when a predator comes towards a pack. They are known to either roll down hills at high speed or start in a dash and then roll up, barreling into a predator if provoked. They tend to be calmer around other herbivores or certain omnivores, as long as they do not prey upon them. A herd will usually have one to two males who look over the females and children. On the plateaus, these creatures tend to grow larger and broader as there is both more food and less danger of falling. Mountainous herds are smaller and more chitinous almost resembling a wooly, caprine armadillo.
Reproductive cycle: These creatures are mammalian and nurse their live borne young. When the young males come of age, they will usually challenge the herd alpha to test of strength. This ritual consists of a serious of joust like duels. The two males will dash at each other and the first to break away or be knock unconscious will be considered the alpha. The loser will usually leave the pack with one or two females, and if the loser is an old male they may stick around to assist in protecting the young. It is not uncommon for the first to charge at a threat to be and older beta male. A litter will tend to yield 2 to 3 kids on average.
Flora
Description: A dark red, aromatic shrub. It's leaves can be used as a great herb to season meat and soup. I grows in colder climates, but is very hearty and can be maintained in temperate climates as well. The flowers are a deeper red and have long stamens with a far more peppery bite to them.
Special traits: The sap of the tree is rather troubling since it contains high levels of heme. Not only does it resemble blood, but it also oxidizes like it. The main difference between it and blood is that the sap is far more viscous and sticky, especially when dried. It also has a notable quirk where the shape of the leaves allows wind to run through it in a way that makes a sharp, shrill whistling, almost similar to a cry or scream. While the shrub has some notable uses for cuisine, some are weary of it, thinking it to be haunted or cursed.
Possible uses: The primary use of this shrub is in culinary use. The leaves are like a slightly sweeter rosemary and the stamens of the flower are similar to a mix of saffron and paprika. Shrubs that are large enough could be tapped for their sap, and while it's not the best source of it, in large amounts it could be used as a source of iron for smelting. However it would take several gallons of the sap to bear even an ounce of metal.

Flora
Name: Flavour Grass
Description: Colorful looking grass like plants, although normally wite they adder to whatever the color of the nearby body of liquid happens to be
Special traits:These plants are highly reproductive with one blade of grass containing several millions of seeds that present itself as a powder to that get stuck in the passing animals or those that try to eat that way they cover massive distances and spread rapidly around the planet. Although white grass doesn't have property, pink grass gives however eat it a short burst of energy before exhaustion kicks in, it usually overdoses insects and small creatures. Orange grass is slightly aphrodisiac in small quantities but also tends to raise internal temperature to deadly degrees in large quantities sometimes enough to cause combustion in small critters, also highly heat resistant. Green grass is toxic and blue grass is resilient and flavour-proof.
Possible uses: Although white grass has little use to non-herbivorous, pink grass can be used in drug production, orange spice the food and also preserves it for a few days, green can create sourness resistant if eaten in small quantities for long periods of time, and blue can be used in cloth making or eaten for its highly nutritional value if you can stand the bitterness and chew time.
*****************************************
FAUNA
Diet: Carcasses
Habitat: Plains and Savannahs
Description: A mammal about the size of a wolf with large shoulders and very thin front paws with bulky hind paws. Their heads are attached to their shoulders, and additionally they have very large mouths with pointy teeth that usually appears to be smiling. Brown to yellow fur
Special traits:Capable of reaching absurd speeds for short amounts of time usually used for running away from predators these scavengers are also capable jumpers, but their uniqueness comes from their tendency to coat themselves in flavor grass powder making them look like in badly applied crown make-up for purposes of camouflage and laugh like noises they produce
Behavior: Strongly nomadic and travelling in groups they stalk the plains running from the first sigh of peril, they are very playful and try to cheer or prank each other whenever they feel safe. They also are strongly influenced by their food, sometimes having their hole behaviour changed. Those that feed on sugar based creatures too often are even more playful and energetic. Those that get addicted to spice based corpses are more prone to mood swings and also being flirty outside of their mating circle. Those that lost too much of their close companions or experienced more heavy trauma normally choose bitter food and are melancholic in their jokes and perhaps are the first creatures to discover dark humour. But those that develop a taste for sour beings are the most peculiar and the most dreaded of those go for a specialized diet, usually feeding on poleps after their sourness broken down to eatable levels with decomposition these creatures develop behaviour that can only be described as toxic, pulling deathly "pranks" on each other that usually end up with one of them in a sour river, the children of these sour pranksters can only hope to scape or learn to be the meanest around before their parents or siblings "prank" them. Thankfully most of these creatures have diversified diet and don't normally develop sour diets and those that due either to sourness accumulation or "pranks" don't tend to last long
Reproductive cycle: Their mating circle is called a festival, where they compete for mates with tricks and jokes, the funniest one is additionally elected group leaders for so elaborate and cunning are their tricks that they surely the best prepared to scape danger and find food. Their sour counterpart however prefer to eliminate their opposition or those rare few that are able to swim out of a sour river and those that were dared to bite a live polep and survived

Fauna:
Diet: Scavenger, Omnivorous
Avian white birds with long thin necks and a beak that changes color according to their mood. They usually stick around mountains where the honk winds are the loudest. They spend most of their time honking as loud as they can to scare away the unseen competitor. The have large wings well suited for endurance over speed. Which they use to survey wide swaths of land looking for anything ANYTHING remotely edible. Store rooms, farm pens, a dangerous predator's fresh slain prey. Should they fail they stick around honking incessantly until the guardian of food relents.
Flora:
A luminous multi colored fungal sac of scintillating colors. They are rare relying on good luck to balance on the edge of extinction. When they reach maturity the sac bursts and forms beautiful rainbow clouds made of spores. Anything that inhales these spores would either go mad, die, melt, or a wide variety of crazy unpredictable effects. There are legends of one who survived and achieved immortality but there isn't any evidence. Most of the spores die leaving only a few spores that land in a suitable place to repeat the cycle once more. Any creature who can use fire would either flee as far as they can, or burn it and die while testing their luck.

Fauna-
Name: Frosnir
Diet: Carnivor
Habitat: Tundra Taigo
Description: A Wolf like creature but nearly triple the size of the Terra-Equivalent we know. It's claws resemble the form more of a bear however and its back as a raised crest similar to a Boar.
Special traits: During the cold season, there bodies have a rich and full coat of fur, often over grown near the end of the season. However during the warmer seasons, the fur falls off in thick patches and the beast gains a more scraggily appearance. The most notable result of the warm weather is that the thinner fur at the front of its face and a hard skull-like chittin is exposed, making the beast look as though its flesh fell off of its face.
Behavior: Pack Hunters, they can work to take down Mammoths that tower over them in scale. They form a sort of caste system to determine who controls the family while they roam the tundra.
Reproductive cycle: Breeding usually occurs in the warmer seasons and the Alpha Male of the pack is usually the only one that is able to breed with the females of the pack.
Flora -
Name: Glass Root
Habitat: Mountains
Description: Nearly Translucent and rigid like thin ice, they blend in with thin patches of snow against ridges of mountains. Very challenging to locate but they grow in dense patches so when find one, it is often easy to see the rest of the field you are in. Their leaves are similar to the structure of a snowflake
Special traits: In the warmer seasons they produce large bright blue berries that make easier to find. The berries are very sweet and are similar to the taste of Raspberries and Plums
Possible uses: The berries are highly nutritious and is suggested to be antibacterial in a salve form. However the berries spoil very easily when removed off the main plant structure. It must be rendered in a jam or some other form of preserves quickly to keep them edible for longer periods of time.

Habitat: Grows in the middle of rivers and streams, tropical-to-warm-temperate areas, mostly in sour liquid
Description: These plants are 80% root system, and they grow low and wide. Leaves like broad inverted cones face the sky, collecting sunlight and water; the flowers lie at the center of those leaves. The sour variety looks stunted compared to the others; the toxins in the water it inhabits cause the roots to mutate such that they twist and turn every which way; the plant has evolved to use this to its advantage, trapping small creatures in pockets of dense root, and absorbing the nutrients when they die and decay.
Due to these adaptations the plant looks leggy and overgrown in less-sour environments and doesn't grow as well. The colorful sail-like leaves it gains from growing in sweet liquid, and the tall ones that pop up in bitter environments looking like six-foot-tall blades of grass, tend to collapse a few months after sprouting, unable to be supported by a now far-more-sprawling root system. They're uncommon but not unheard of in these environments, as long as enough sunlight and other sustenance are present.
Special traits: It filters the flavor out of the water it inhabits and channels it to small fruits it produces at the center of its leaves. A bitingly sour fruit will, depending on the creature who eats it, disorient them, knock them out, or kill them. Under the weight of an unconscious creature, the leaf will collapse, dropping the creature into the waiting roots to be devoured. It produces these fruits in combination with a mild, nutritious variety at about a 1:50 ratio, so anyone reaching their paw into the leaf for a snack will probably be fine, and able to help the plant by spreading its seeds the regular way.
Possible uses: Since fruit flavor depends on water flavor, the special fruits could be cultivated as sort of a designer jawbreaker. Its large leaves broadcast it as a food source for nomadic beings in non-sour environments, at the risk of giving them a flavor blast they're unprepared to deal with.

FAUNA
Name:Royals
Special traits: Although not looking like it at first most bird species in the planet are members of the Royalty species, that's due that even though bird like the Royals are more similar to insects, working as a hive mind communicating orders through pheromone lanes, the highest position is the Queen issuing orders, though lesser classes are also able to communicate with themselves with varying degrees of autonomy. The pheromones also work as maps, essentially serving as more accurate information than actual maps as they are able to tell more about certain places then images. They also can convert other creatures into peasants, using their pheromones to enslave a creature to the hive mind.
Habitat: The royals stay away from honk winds as that makes pheromones communication harder and mapping impossible.
Behavior: The Royals have a great deal of obedience to the Mother Queen as she spawns all other Queens. Queens in turn create their Courts, each Court controls Kingdoms all over the world, in the Kingdom somewhat center there's a Palace where the Queen resides, normally a cave or other hard to reach place. There are many positions in Court and each Court has its variants but some essential positions have little chance except in extreme cases. Counts act as messengers delivering pheromones from the Queen to other Castes, they infest areas where other Castes work from making little mud houses on trees where they can rest, cartography is the counts second job as they infest a area from where they constantly act as information hubs and create lanes as they deliver instructions. Priests are mass converts, normally converting alphas as they are able to lead entire their band to the Queen's layer where they are slaughtered by the Royal Guard, they tend to stick to that and store their converting pheromones in internal sacks as they are more useful as mass conversion bioweapons during war time, though converting a dig animal population to make a Queen Palace or predators in scarcity times are sometimes necessary. Knights hunt in more conventional ways, using their talons to kill and bring prey to the layer, having taken their share of the bounty, in war times Knight's form squadrons that get ordered by Kings forsaking every bit of individualism and fighting to the point where most creatures would have long died. The Royal Guard protects the Palace and the Queen's Kings.
Diet: Always includes spice as they are essential to making pheromones, aside from that it varies. Counts feed on fruits and small animals. Knights are carnivorous. Priests eat after the queen is done. And the Queen has wide alimentation variety feeding on whatever their subjects bring her.
Reproductive cycle: It is impossible to talk about their reproduction without talking about the war. To put it simply the highest objective to a Queen's life is to have the greatest army for the War, their secondary objective is to amass the highest number of King possible as that work towards their primary goal. When a Queen is laid by the Mothers Queen her first task is to survive the fight with her sisters to get out of the nest, though that is not over yet for a Queen early childhood as she has yet to compete for the food in her Princess form until she can win enough Kings to start a colony. Kings on the other hand are much rarer than Queens, never guaranteed to spawn in a brood and they are quickly to pledge loyalty to the strongest Queen until she's killed by an even stronger Queen. The thing about Kings is that even though they all look the same they each carry a unique offspring genome, so a King may originate a priest or a count or even unique Court positions as they essentially carry within themselves bioweapons plans waiting for a worthy biological factory to subjugate them into servitude. That all works towards the War as the Mother Queen ends her fortunately centenary life all over the world the Queens fight, although skirmishes for territory and all out war occur nothing so bloody is ever seem outside of the War, the sheer amount of bodies blacking out the sky is a terrifying vision and as scavengers approach the battlefield hoping to eat the casualties they take the risk of being forcibly conscripted into the war effort. A war ends when a Queen and the Queens that vassalized to her by pledging their Kings into service finish killing all other Queens including the Princess and the past Mother Queen brood, The Main Queen then produces together with the other Queen a nectar out of the other Queen corpse, a distilled powerful pheromone concoction that changes her to only produce Queens and restart the circle. The Royalty is very important to the environment as not only do they produce plenty of fertilizer they also maintain a loose population control changing the Queen diet to whatever is most available.
Description: Bird looking creatures with different shapes and sizes. Queens have a dozen eyes on each side of their heads 9 on top in a cluster and 3 separated ones on the bottom, the ones on top best operate on dark environments and the ones on bottom have a full view during flight, their beaks are on the bottom of their heads looking like a weird chin and they have bone closing their faces in a helmet like manner, they have blue feathers with golden details and are the biggest fully aerial creatures about half the size of a worm dragon. Kings are much alike but with beaks in a pickaxe shape coming from where you expect a beak to be, they have dark blue feathers with black details, with only the cluster of 9 eyes about 1/3 of a worm dragon ranking as the second biggest fully aerial creature. Counts are the smallest about the size of a hummingbird and have full light blue feathers with 32 eyes all around their head working to most effectively locate the ones they are delivering orders to when pheromone lanes are not fully built yet. Knights resemble Kings but much smaller, ⅔ of a human size but with the biggest crawls by body size, with light blue feathers and white details and only two eyes on each side of their head. Priests look like other more common birds using their deceptive appearance to get close to their prey.

Wonderful, wonderful. We have some characters and a setting: looks like everything we need to start writing our history!
Ahem Ahem…
With your permission then, viewer, I'll begin.
On a peculiar planet warmed by the light of two stars…
Life has already began to spread all over the land and seas.
Oh, what’s this?
A new life is starting right in front of us!
A young creature has emerged from its egg. It is disoriented and confused, but also ready to explore this big world around them.
This creature is an Irakai, a species characterized by their high adaptability and curiosity.
It is only in its first stage: its experiences in life will later decide its new form once it merges with three or more of its kind.
It is extremely important for the completion of this creature's life cycle to meet other members of its species to merge with, creating a new mature individual capable of reproducing.
Let’s not get too ahead of ourselves though, it is still too young to even attempt such a thing.
After taking its first few steps into this world, it takes a minute to examine its surroundings.
What will this young creature do?

Fauna: dōnkrek
Diet: Omnivorous
Habitat: rocky coastlines
Description: They have three powerful grabbing arms that they use to attach themselves to stones along coastlines. they are roughly 1 1/2 meters across. they have 6 spined tentacles/tongues within their tripetaled mouth. their main body has a mottled brown shell. when they are not feeding they appear like a rock. their flesh is green.
Special traits: they have camouflage and their tentacles an be easily hidden.
Behavior: they feed roughly once a day, but will devour anything that disturbs them.
Reproductive cycle: Under certain poorly studied conditions a dōnkrek will detach from their stone, fall into the ocean, and gestate a number of genetically identical children. the parent is devoured from the inside-out, and the children use their shell as a shelter until they have developed their own.
